Summer-green-juice-recipe

I absolutely love summer for the simple reason that the farmer’s markets are open and filled with delicious foods from God’s garden.  

Did you know the more alkalized your body is, the better prepared you are to fight disease and build (or rebuild) your immune system?  Drinking green juices is a powerful way to alkalize your body.   And the juices don’t have to taste bad either.  The recipe I share below is delicious!  Try drinking this every day for just a week and see how you feel – I bet you’ll notice the difference!
Ingredients:
  • 2 small cucumbers

  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1/2 lime
  • 1 – 2 green apples
  • 3 leaves of kale, de-stemmed
  • Small amount of cilantro
 If you’re new to green juices this is a great one to start with because it’s so refreshing.  You can decide how sweet you want it (if you’re just starting out you’ll probably want it more sweet than not) by adding more apple.  Or try a Bartlett pear in this juice for a sweet treat!
 
This is a great summer drink that tastes wonderful and is very energizing.  Celery gives you natural salt, and the lime makes this juice so refreshing!
